‘We are essentially a paycheck-to-paycheck nation,’ said a senior economic analyst at Bankrate.
Most Americans cannot afford a $1,000 emergency expense, with inflation and high interest rates affecting their ability to save adequately, according to a recent survey by consumer services company Bankrate.
A full 59 percent of Americans aren’t in a position to use their savings “to pay for a major unexpected expense, such as $1,000 for an emergency room visit or car repair,” said a Jan. 23 report from the company.
This is up from 56 percent a year back.
“We are essentially a paycheck-to-paycheck nation,” said Mark Hamrick, senior economic analyst at Bankrate. “Fewer Americans have the equivalent of a financial safety net to cover inevitable unexpected expenses, despite low unemployment and steady growth.”

With the annual number of new cases in the United States expected to nearly double by 2060, researchers highlight the importance of policies and individual approaches that support healthy aging. Today, nearly 7 million Americans live with dementia. The condition occurs when brain cells die off, leading to a gradual decline in cognition and the ability to perform daily tasks. The causes of dementia vary, but in many cases, factors such as protein buildup (such as amyloid-beta and tau in Alzheimer’s) or reduced blood flow to the brain (in vascular dementia) are involved. These changes can begin years before symptoms such as memory loss and communication difficulties appear, which is why early prevention is key.

Promuovendo h 24 facili attrattive viziose: diffusione della moda dello sballo con droghe e alcol, diffusione della moda del junk food e delle abbuffate , diffusione di spettacoli sportivi su TV e giornaloni, diffusione di trash tv (reality show, soap opera, ecc ) e infotainment ( talk show di politica e economia come quelli di Bruno Vespa , Floris, Berlinguer, roba vomitevole spacciata per piatti gourmet! ) , farmaci chimici a go-go per qualsiasi tipo malattia, scuola pubblica e sanità pubblica sempre meno di qualità e in tutto questo per discolparsi TV e giornaloni promuovono personaggi come Tony Robbins che ti dicono che vivi in un mondo libero e democratico pieno di opportunità e che se non le avete sapute cogliere è solo colpa vostra ma se vi fate uno dei suoi fantastici corsi di sviluppo personale pagando un botto di solidi e allora potrete realizzare subito una svolta in positivo a 360 gradi, incredibile ma vero!!

Yes he is totally a snake oil salesman aka scam/con!!! I was taken in by great advertising and paid to go to one of his weekend seminars in San Francisco 1. I demanded and got a full refund, but ended up losing money on airfare and hotel costs I got my refund for the following reasons 1. Robbins admitted during seminar to reading all the self help books he could get his hands on and using all the bests parts of them. This makes his seminar a rehash of every self help book you have ever read (One of those books must have been on mass hypnosis. I recognized the techniques used were many used for mass hypnosis) 2. He had “coaches” who severely chastised you for not screaming, yelling, jumping and clapping effusively when Tony wanted you to do so. I ended up with the worst case of laryngitis I have ever had in my life due to this 3. The fire walk was hell!!! We were forced to wait until 1:00am outside barefoot on wet pavement in the cold due to the seminar being severely unorganized for this portion. Then while doing the fire walk I was tapped on the arm by an “encourager” on Tony’s team! This caused me to lose focus and I then badly burned the bottoms of my feet. This was not happening prior to my being touched and distracted/disengaged! Sadly it happened to many others as well 4. È un miliardario perché questo modello di business che vende speranza è una delle cose più redditizie in un mondo pieno di persone naive e credulone. Vende i suoi prodotti a milioni di persone che pensano di poter scappare dal lavoro 9-17 eppure, dopo 45 anni, la maggior parte continua a lavorare dalle 9 alle 17 e ha vite ordinarie.
Ho facilmente dimostrato matematicamente che quello che sta facendo è roba di base e qui c'è il numero uno motivo per cui è un guru falso: ha vissuto per 23 milioni di minuti durante quei 45 anni di predicazione e i suoi corsi hanno raggiunto 10 milioni di persone, il che significa automaticamente che ha speso circa 1 minuto per cliente!!!
E sto essendo molto generoso qui, perché ha anche più di 100 milioni di clienti in tutto il mondo ai quali ha venduto registrazioni audio e libri, quindi ha dovuto dedicare un po' di tempo a questo. Ha anche speso molto tempo a preparare e fare i suoi spettacoli quando ovviamente non predicava.
Il suo stesso film su Netflix è pieno di segnali di allerta! Vediamo che ha un sacco di persone che lavorano per lui e che analizzano i suoi clienti che pagano 4000-5000 dollari! Non fa neanche il semplice lavoro di passare del tempo con i suoi clienti eppure afferma di poter aiutare persone a caso su Facebook a scappare dal lavoro 9-17??? Quanto deve pagare un singolo cliente affinché Anthony si prenda davvero cura di lui dedicandogli abbastanza tempo, impegno e rispetto? 100k? Un milione $? Il suo enorme numero di clienti suggerisce solo una cosa ed è l'avidità. Cerca di raggiungere quante più persone possibile per il minor tempo possibile. È fondamentalmente marketing.

The free coaching amounted to the coach asking us some basic personal questions about our goals and then using our answers against us in an overly aggressive attempt to manipulate us into making a deposit to attend Tony’s far more expensive “Mastery University” seminars. At the time we attended, the firewalk seminar (called “Unleash the Power Within”) was $500 per person. Each Mastery University seminar ranged from $2500 to $5000. Attending the more expensive seminars simply wasn’t an option for us at the time. But when we pointed this out to the coaches, they became almost belligerent and proceeded to badger us. “If you’re truly serious about wanting to live an outstanding life, you’ll find a way to come up with the money. So what kind of deposit would you like to make today?” Eventually my wife’s coach and my coach brought us together and attempted to use our relationship as a further means of manipulating us. “Don’t you want your wife to be successful? Don’t you care about her enough to do this for her?” It was a truly disgusting display of avarice. These coaches were nothing more than salespeople, probably generously commissioned. There was no genuine coaching at all. We felt we’d been lied to. How would you feel in this situation?
My wife and I left disappointed and jaded, and we obviously didn’t buy the seminars. In fact, since that time (1998), neither of us has bought anything further from Tony Robbins. I felt that Tony had personally lied in this case, and the use of this bait-and-switch tactic seriously damaged his credibility with me (which had previously been pretty good up until he crossed that line).
Well, I once worked for him, he is not who most people think he is, he is really called "A Confidence Man" short for Con Man. He uses charm and charisma to extract your money. He uses military and communist brainwashing to manipulate people, how do I know, he admits it due to his absurd arrogance. Lets see, in the last 8 months, 3 of his long term volunteers have committed suicide. Yes, 98% of his event staff are "free labor", they pay all their own expenses, he gives them NOTHING. He is a master of creating "addictions" to get free staff, and then abuses them. He brags about being a master of relationships, yet, while married to his first wife Becky, he was having an affair with his 2nd wife, Bonnie" not a "Sage" Robbins. The TRUTH will come out sooner than he thinks, Hmmmm Me Too
